Automotive Professional Auto Buffer and Paint Touch Up Specialist
About the Position
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Professional Auto Buffer & Paint Touch-Up Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for helping keep our vehicles looking their best through professional detailing, paint correction, buffing, polishing, and minor paint touch-up work.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail, and understands automotive paint colors, finishes, and proper cleaning techniques.
Key Responsibilities
Perform professional exterior and interior vehicle detailing.
Buff and polish vehicles to remove minor imperfections, swirls, oxidation, and surface blemishes.
Perform minor automotive paint touch-ups and color matching.
Identify paint colors and select appropriate touch-up products and materials.
Prepare vehicle surfaces for touch-up, polishing, and finishing.
Use buffers, polishers, cleaning equipment, and detailing products safely and effectively.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.
Inspect completed vehicles to ensure they meet dealership appearance standards.
Handle vehicles carefully and follow dealership safety procedures.
Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality results.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in automotive detailing, paint correction, buffing, or paint touch-up preferred.
Knowledge of automotive paint colors, finishes, and color matching.
Experience using professional buffers, polishers, and detailing equipment.
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
Ability to identify imperfections and determine the appropriate method for correction.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and motivated.
Valid driver's license preferred.
